The GameSir X5 Lite phone controller clamps around your phone and turns it into a handheld with real sticks and triggers. It plugs straight into the USB-C port, so there's no pairing and no battery to charge.

Good to know

• Take your phone case off if the plug doesn't seat fully. If the plug is still visible, swap in the thinner pad.
• Some Android phones need OTG switched on in settings before the controller works.
• Lightning iPhones aren't supported. It's USB-C only.

FAQ

Does the GameSir X5 Lite work with iPhone?

It works with USB-C iPhones, which means the 15, 16 and 17 series. Older Lightning iPhones won't connect.

Does it need charging?

No. It has no battery and runs off the phone. Pass-through charging lets you plug in a charger while you play.

Will it fit my phone with a case on?

Thin cases sometimes fit, but the plug has to be fully seated. If the logo button doesn't light up, take the case off.

What are Hall-effect sticks?

They read stick position with magnets instead of rubbing contacts, so they don't wear the same way. That's why they resist stick drift.
