These silent mechanical switches cut the clack of a hot-swap keyboard, so late sessions don't wake the house. They're 5-pin with thicker pins than older Outemu switches, so check your board's sockets take them before you order.
Why they earn a spot on your board
- Two feels: Silent peach V3 is linear at 40 ± 10 gf. Silent lemon V3 is tactile with a 50 ± 10 gf bump.
- Quiet by design: new silicone dampening cuts bottom-out noise. The trade-off is a slightly firmer feel than the V2.
- Factory lubed: lubed inside at the factory, so they're ready to install out of the bag.
- Sturdier build: a dust wall on the stem and thicker pins that are less likely to snap.
- RGB friendly: translucent PA66 housings with a light guide let backlighting through.
- Pack sizes: 10 to try them out, or 70, 90 or 110 to fill a full board.

Good to know
- The pins are thicker than older Outemu switches. They fit regular hot-swap sockets but may not go into Outemu silver hot-swap sockets.
- Hot-swap or solder depends on your keyboard, not the switch.
- Check each switch for bent pins before you push it in. A bent pin usually straightens with tweezers.
- Count your keys before choosing a pack. A full-size board needs around 104 switches.
FAQ
Linear or tactile: which silent switch should I pick?
Pick silent peach for a smooth press with no bump, which many players prefer for gaming. Pick silent lemon if you type a lot and like feeling the actuation point.
Will these fit a 3-pin keyboard?
Yes, if you clip the two plastic side pins, which is a common, reversible-enough mod. On a 5-pin board they drop straight in.
Are silent switches slower for gaming?
No. Actuation is set by travel and force, and these actuate at around 2 mm. The dampening only softens the bottom-out.
Do I need to lube them?
No. They're lubed at the factory, so you can install them as they come.
